Why documentation matters
My background in museums taught me that documentation is never neutral, it is an act of preservation and meaning-making. When we work together, we’re not just creating images. We are having a conversation about your work, your practice, and what is important to you.
Documentation creates clarity. The questions I ask and the details I notice help artist see and articulate their work differently.
Images open doors. Professional documentation becomes both a tool for opportunity and a record of who you were as an artist in a certain moment.
Process is part of the story. How you work is as meaningful as what you make and it is worthy of intentional documentation.
Documentation is an act of meaning-making
